egg drop test

Egg Drop lab
Reece and Froi
After we had our lab set up our goal was to drop the egg in the water. The egg has more mass which means the egg has a higher inertia. Inertia means the resistance to change in motion. The pie tin and the paper roll have less mass then the egg. When we hit the pie tin out from underneath the egg, the egg dropped into the water.  The pie tin and paper roll flew out of the way when we added force. That caused the egg to fall into the water. The egg didn’t move at first like the other things because of the inertia but the gravity pulled the egg down. The gravity was the outside force that caused the egg to drop.
