Inability of an organism to its environment

One of the biggest things do in an environment is to make sure that you have the characteristics to adapt to it changes. If a big snow storm comes to your environment, the species has to change things up to make sure that it can survive or it will lead to extinction. Extinction means when all the members of a species die. Through natural causes or human causes the animals have to learn how to react to it to survive. Lets say that their is a bear and a flood happens, luckily for the bear it can swim by adapting to the changes of its habitat. Another example is a finch. Some finches have big beaks and others don't. If a drought happens and the small seeds go away, it is hard for the small beaks to get food. So they have to adapt to the change of environment and find different types of food. If they don't, they will become extinct in that certain place. Everyday, a change happens to the earth, if its only changing by centimeters or by inches, either way even us humans have to adapt to it.
