Anomatical Features

      Did you know that all organisms are related to one ancestor? I will write about the evidence of the ancestors of species by including the facts about fossils, Lamarcks theory, and the evidence of mutation.


       There are lots of fossils in the world that archeologist have found in the depths of the ground. Fossils are the remains of an organism from long ago that was deeply piled up under layers of rock or sand. Scientist did research over the fossils and figured out that they were related to diffrent types of animals from that generation. This is how a theory was developed.

      Jean Baptiste De Lamarck found out about a theory of natural selection. If an organism changes during life in order to adapt to its environment, those changes are passed on to its offspring. He came up with this when he was on his journey.

     Mutation is when two organisms have an offspring and it acquires diffrent characteristics. This is how diffrent types of animals are related to each other. An example of a mutation is when two badgers with short claws have an offspring and the offspring gets long claws. That is how we are all related to each other.
